Taylor to play for World XI at Eid Twenty20

National Test team captain Brendan Taylor has been selected for a star-studded World XI team to play against an Asia XI team at the Eid Twenty20 challenge festival.The match will be played at the West End Park Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Monday.

The World XI versus Asia XI concept is an initiative by the West End Park Group and sports management agency Euphoria Sports.

The World XI comprises players from Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands,Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe.

The T20 exhibition match, to be held under lights, will see West Indies batting legend Brian Lara captaining the World XI while Sri Lankan icon SanathJayasuriya will lead the Asia XI side.
