athletes are now expected to troop in tomorrow.
The home based athletes were scheduled to enter camp at Belvedere Teachers’ College yesterday but could not do so.
Tiriwashe Nheyembwa, who is the liaison officer for Team Zimbabwe, said they were advised that the venue was still occupied.
“We could not enter camp as planned because Zimsec are doing their business at the centre.
“So the marking of exams is a sensitive issue and they need privacy.
“It’s now expected that the camp will start on August 26,” said Nheweyembwa.
The Sports Commission are also looking at chartering an Air Zimbabwe plane for the athletes and officials to Mozambique.
“So far nothing has changed in terms of our plans to engage Air Zimbabwe to charter the place,” he said.
The 10th All-Africa Games will run from September 3 to 18 in Maputo.
Zimbabwe will be fielding athletes in 17 medal sporting disciplines.
