THE funeral parade for the late Highlanders Football Club chairman, Colonel (Retired) Kenneth Mhlophe, is underway at Imbizo Barracks ahead of his burial at Lady Stanley Cemetery this afternoon.
Colonel (Retired) Mhlophe, who died in a tragic road traffic accident last Thursday, is being accorded full military honours in recognition of his distinguished service in the Zimbabwe National Army.

The chief mourner at the funeral parade is Zimbabwe National Army Chief of Staff Quartermaster Staff, Major General Simo Maseko, who is representing Commander Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi.

Following the military funeral parade, Mhlophe will be laid to rest at Lady Stanley Cemetery, where fellow Highlanders executive members Nkani Khoza and Fiso Siziba were buried on Monday after they also lost their lives in the same accident.
