WARRIORS centre back Teenage Hadebe has bade farewell to his Turkish side Konyaspor following the end of the Super Lig season.
The Makokoba-bred Hadebe singed for Konyaspor in February on a free transfer after leaving United States of America (USA) Major League side Houston Dynamo.
The former Highlanders, Bantu Rovers and Chicken Inn defender penned a short-term contract until the end of the campaign.
After featuring in the final game of the season over the weekend against Galatasaray, Hadebe announced his departure on X, formerly Twitter, and also thanked the club.“Massive thanks and appreciation to the whole Konyaspor family. To my teammates, staff, the president, coaches, management and especially the supporters who supported us right until the end, mission accomplished,” wrote Hadebe on Thursday.
He is part of the 23-member Warrior squad that interim head coach Jairos Tapera picked for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and South Africa. Zimbabwe will host Lesotho in Johannesburg on June 7, before taking on Bafana Bafana in Free State on June 11.
