adminA Chimanimani teenager has been dragged before a Mutare magistrate for raping his nine-year-old sister. The 18-year-old was remanded in custody to March 6 for sentencing. Prosecutor Mr Fletcher Karombe said the teenager raped his juvenile sister sometime between December 1 and 31 last year.
It is the State’s case that the accused was at home together with the victim, when he sent their 10-year-old stepsister to a nearby township to buy snacks so that he could remain with her.
The accused allegedly asked his sister to have sex with him and hit her with a stick when she refused to comply with his demands. He then dragged the minor into his bedroom and raped her once. — Manicaland Bureau.
