Teenager sodomises four-year-old nephew

A 19-year-old Harare man appeared in court last week for allegedly raping his four-year-old nephew twice.

The accused who is aged 19 appeared before Harare regional magistrate Mr Stanford Mambanje charged with aggravated indecent assault and was remanded in custody to June 13.

The State led by Mr Tawanda Nyandoro allegedly that on May 8 at around 1pm, the teen took the little boy from where he was playing into a room at their house where assaulted the boy twice.

The matter came to light when the boy’s guardian found out that complainant was suffering from stomach pain, diarrhoea and his tummy was swollen.

She asked complainant if something had happened to him and he told her how he was sexually assaulted by his uncle.

The accused was arrested by police on May 24.
