Rapper Tehn Diamond is one of the few musicians across the world who dropped the first singles of 2016 on January 1. And unlike other artistes who always hide behind challenges, Tehn Diamond kept the promise he made to release a new single “Bho Tsano” which features Simba Tagz. In this latest single, the rapper exhibits his ever growing ability to assemble seamless flows in different languages.
Tehn Diamond has three mixtapes to his name and is in the middle of recording his first official commercial release “The Perfect Tehn” EP, set to be dropped in the first quarter of this year.
In a statement Tehn Diamond said he decided to release the single as a way of building momentum and setting the pace for 2016. “Bho Tsano” is taken from a project called “A Few Good Poems”.
“Bho Tsano’ is the first single off my next project called a ‘Few Good Poems’. It is basically about me dusting off the cob webs and setting the tone for the next chapter in Zim Hip Hop.
“I don’t want to say too much. I would like the music to speak for itself and hopefully fly. It’s been almost two years since I released a single, so ‘Bho Tsano’ is about timing,” said Tehn Diamond.
Tehn Diamond is an award winning Zimbabwean rapper, who hogged the musical limelight in 2012 when his hit song “Happy” was played on regional stations. He has since toured regionally, appeared in SA’s HYPE magazine, and headlined Africa’s biggest reality eviction show “Big Brother Africa”.
