MOBILE phone operator Telecel Zimbabwe yesterday launched a new service targeting corporates called Telecel Business that offers four business packages expected to cut their phone bills by up to 80 percent.
Speaking at the launch in Harare, Telecel marketing director Mr Octivius Kahiya said they had come up with the product because they appreciate the importance of affordable communication between an organisation and its stakeholders.
“We have come up with this product because we appreciate the importance for businesses to communicate with customers, employees, suppliers and other business partners.
“As such we realise the need for such communication to be efficient and cost effective,” he said.
Telecel Business comes in four packages, namely Telecel Business 15, Telecel Business 30, Telecel Business 60 and Telecel Business 150 while their names reflect the value of the monthly subscription before addition of value added tax.
The product also allows for employees within an organisation to be placed into a closed user group where they can call each other free of charge.
Telecel chief commercial officer Mr Ashraf El guindy expressed confidence that the new product will be well received on the market and would be able to fulfil customer needs and specifications.
“We are optimistic that the product will be well received by our customers as we consulted them to interrogate their needs before coming up with the different flexible packages,” he said.
