Pastors Davison and Gwen Kanokanga Matrimonial Hub —
IT is not every question that should be asked. Some questions are silly, others are irrelevant. Yet others are dangerous.
The Bible in Proverbs 24:3-4 says, “Through wisdom a house is built. And by understanding it is established. By knowledge the rooms are filled with precious and pleasant riches”.
There is no wisdom in a man asking his wife any of the following questions. In fact, the questions are unnecessary and dangerous. They are dangerous in that if the wife answers truthfully and gives the husband answers that he was not expecting, then the husband will be hurt and disappointed.
The couple can easily end up fighting. In the process they damage their relationship.
The following questions do not build a home. They are dangerous and should therefore not be asked. Any man who asks his wife any of the following questions does so at his own risk.
The destructive questions.
- Are you sure these children are mine?
- Do you regret marrying me?
- Do you ever think of a divorce?
- Do you miss your ex?
- What is it about your ex that you miss?
- How do I compare with your ex?
- Have you ever cheated on me?
- Are there men you are attracted to?
- If I die will you re-marry?
- Out of the men that you and I know, whom would you marry if I were to die?
