ZIMBABWE Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) side Tenax CS FC have three matches in hand, and simple mathematics show that winning all three would put them top of the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Division One League, regardless of other results.
The Blessing Madombi-coached team face Destiny Stars on Wednesday at Chisamba Ground in Sakubva, Mutare, in one of their outstanding matches (kick-off 3 pm).
Madombi acknowledged the importance of winning all three matches in hand to secure another top-flight league spot.
Madombi said: “We certainly would want to win all are matches which most likely will take us to the top (if we win all the matches we have in hand). However, there is a lot of work to be done. It also means a lot of matches in a short space of time. That a very big challenge but we just have to be equal to the task at hand. In fact, as Tenax we are ready for such a challenge.”
