TENDAI NDORO MYSTERY DEATH: Body taken for postmortem

THE football fraternity is reeling in shock following the sudden death of former Warriors and Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro, whose body was taken for postmortem in South Africa on Tuesday.

Ndoro (40), who also starred for Chicken Inn, Ajax Cape Town, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Faisaly, was found lifeless in his Sandton apartment on Monday.

His father, Silas Mukundwa, confirmed: “Yes, it’s true, his body was taken for postmortem on Tuesday.”
The forward’s remains were reportedly discovered days after his passing, sparking mystery over the circumstances surrounding his death. Sources say Ndoro was alone when tragedy struck.

Arrangements are being made to repatriate his body to Zimbabwe for burial. The family is expected to announce funeral details in due course.
