Yesterday’s hearing at Macclesfield Magistrates, chaired by Elizabeth Depares, agreed with Tevez’s solicitor that is was a “mid-range offence” more deserving of community service than a custodial sentence. Following a 15-minute interview, probation officer Mike Boliver recommended community service adding: “Clearly, he is fit for unpaid work.”
