TEXAS HOLD ‘EM

JUDE BELLINGHAM’s girlfriend Ashlyn Castro planted a kiss on her England goal hero beau after the Three Lions defeated Croatia.

The Wags were in tow in Arlington, Texas to watch their partners begin their World Cup campaign.

And when the game ended, the players joined their other halves in the stands to be toasted following their impressive 4-2 win.

Two-goal hero Harry Kane was spotted with Katie Goodland, who planted a smacker on her hubby. Love was also in the air for Bellingham and stunner Ashlyn as they shared an intimate moment together at full-time.

Megan Pickford, wife of goalkeeper Jordan, was also seen giving the Everton star a kiss and looking glam, despite a “suitcase mishap” in transit.

Megan, who wed childhood sweetheart Jordan in 2020, posted a snap of herself outside the stadium on Instagram earlier in the day.Explaining what happened, she wrote: “No suitcase mishap was going to stop me supporting my husband.

“Featuring the top I travelled in & borrowed jeans”.Los Angeles influencer Ashlyn, meanwhile, wore an England shirt as she sat next to Jude’s mum Denise and dad Mark.

Ollie Watkins‘ wife Ellie watched in anticipation, hoping to see her man get on, however he didn’t make an appearance.

And Declan Rice‘s partner Lauren Fryer was also an eager spectator.

Stars’ Wags were treated to an eventful England opener. The Three Lions took the lead early on via Harry Kane‘s retaken penalty.

Martin Baturina levelled on 36 minutes with a smart strike from outside the area.

Kane reclaimed England’s lead with a header from a Rice corner.

Croatia equalised again on the stroke of half time, Petar Musa converting Ivan Perisic‘s smart nod back with virtually the final kick of the half.

Whatever Thomas Tuchel said at the break appeared to do the trick, with Bellingham making it 3-2 barely 90 seconds into the second half.

Then, super subs Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford combined, with the latter curling the ball home to make it 4-2 in the 85th minute.Back home, England fans were left ecstatic by our impressive start to the tournament.

There were fears pubs would suffer this World Cup due to the late kick off times for England‘s group games.

But boozers were still packed late at night as the nation came together as one to roar their support.

Pints were thrown in the air and strangers in bucket hats embraced each other as choruses of “It’s Coming Home” rang out.

All eyes will now be on next Tuesday’s 9pm game against Ghana.  — Sun.
