A TEAM from Thailand is expected to add foreign flavour to the Zimbabwe October 5s bowls tournament at City Bowling Club in Harare next month.
The three-day tournament will this year have more teams competing in all the bowling disciplines.
The tournament has been set for October 10 to 12 and it will see 18 clubs from across the country, and a visiting team from Thailand, taking part.
City Bowling Club manager, Joyce Kachale, said this was one of their biggest tournaments on the calendar and preparations were already at an advanced stage.

“We are happy to announce that there will be a foreign team coming to play in the October 5s. We want to ensure that all is set by next month hence we have started our preparations. “It is good that we will be hosting a side from Thailand. We have local teams who are competitive so we will definitely have exciting and interesting bowls.
