Thando joins Generations Legacy

The radio DJ and actress is the face to look out for in 2015. For Thando Thabethe joining Generations Legacy is a big deal since she grew up watching the show. Thabethe will star as Nolwazi in the daily soapie, an educated girl born and bred in the township.

Her character resembles her, as she was one bright spark growing up and well educated with an Accountant degree.

“I have always loved the media industry, I studied for an accounting degree, the path to acquiring my qualification I did everything but worry about books balancing.

“I had the best years during varsity, but YES I guess those who go on to be CAs are on that focused tip.

“I’m too much of an extrovert that could never be me.”

Excited about being part of the reboot of the soapie she said: “I’ve already been privileged enough to star alongside the talent that is Manaka Ranaka and I’m so thrilled with the reception both the cast and crew have given me so far.

“I am an actress through and through and cannot wait to show South Africa what I’m capable of.

I even had to cut my hair for this role. I literally sobbed but that is how invested I am in depicting Nolwazi. – Sunday World.
