The fruits of hard work

Delight Mwamuka

When a farmer plants his crops, he expects to get a good harvest out of it and hopes for the best.

He does all things necessary to ensure that the fruits of his hard labour are sweet.

All those who labour hope to be fulfilled someday.

Similarly I say to us candidates the time for harvest is upon us.

Reality is here now.

Those four good years have just been defined by that one little slip.

Fellow mates, it’s not always the case that a farmer always has a bumper harvest.

Sometimes he suffers a loss but that doesn’t prevent him from planting in the next season.

If anything, it only enhances his knowledge and builds him a more efficient strategy to conquer the next season.

He takes all the precautions necessary to prevent the same ordeal from reoccurring.

Similarly I say to you don’t lose hope, instead change your view.

There’s more to life than what you’re only focusing on.

Remove all the distractions that played a part in the disappointment you faced and chose to walk this year a victor.

If someone else could do it, so can you.

You just need to concentrate on the right place and have a vision.

Try looking for the silver lining on your cloud.

When one door closes, another one opens.

When you fall, don’t stay there for too long, instead get up and shake off the dust and get right back into the race.

A journey has many and different routes to take, although the road might be crooked and filled with many twists and turns.

What matters is to arrive.

Enjoy all those challenges because one day they shall be a chapter of your success story.

Be optimistic.

For the farmer who has made a successful harvest, I tell you to celebrate with utmost joy and festivity.

For all your work has paid off in the end.

He who gave you would love to see you enjoy and appreciate the fruits.

Celebrate every win life gives you no matter how small because gratitude is a smooth path that leads to even greater glory.

Never be too busy to celebrate these wins.

Continue soaring through life and taking massive strides of success.

Keep reaching out to your dreams and don’t stop to look back.

Jump at every opportunity you get because one thing about the future is it comes one day at a time. Never let any man play with your dreams.

When no one is clapping for you, clap for yourself and give yourself a pat in the back because only you know how far you’ve come and how further you still want to go.

Keep pushing champion, you can be anything you want to be.
