The fun continues this weekend

Mverechena Hotel Gardens
A gospel extravaganza awaits gospel lovers from Domboshawa and surrounding areas when more than 10 gospel groups descend at Mverechena Hotel for a gospel show on Saturday morning until late into the day.
Mai Guvamombe, Innocent Shumbahuru, Lucky Mabhande, Samuel Ncube, Mupostori Mucheki, Vatendi Vanhasi, Evernice Jeche, Moses Mutambike, and Elder MP Mazonde are expected to rock Domboshawa, with their tunes.

Gospel musician of the moment Blessing Shumba who is currently riding high with his latest album “NdiMwari” will be part of a pool of more than 10 gospel musicians from across the country who will converge at Mverechena Hotel Gardens tomorrow afternoon at a festival dubbed “Gospel Explosion”.

Shumba who first caused a stir last year with his hit songs like “Varombo Vachaiteiko” and “Kurwa Kwakanaka” among others, will be out to prove why he is one of the hottest gospel finds of the moment when he unleashes songs like “Hama”, “Zita”, “Mufaro”, “Mabasa” and “Ndouya Nei”, which are featured on his latest album “NdiMwari”.

Alick Macheso – Matombo Charehwa
Sungura musician Alick Macheso will entertain his legion of fans when he performs at Matombo Charehwa in Budiriro 2 tomorrow night where Dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu will partner him.

“Chikopokopo” will then land at Colour Purple Leisure Centre in the Willowvale Industrial Area of Harare for a family show dubbed “Birthday Bash”, on Sunday afternoon.
“Cheso Power” will also alternate on stage with Venus Crew led by Harare businesswoman Karen Madhake popularly known as Mai Jojo in entertainment circles.

Suluman Chimbetu – Pakare Paye Arts Centre
The town of Norton will reverberate to Dendera music when man of the moment Suluman Chimbetu jams at Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton tonight.

The Orchestra Dendera Kings frontman will keep revellers warm when he belts out some of his hit songs like “Dzamutsana”, ‘Kwedu” which he collaborated with grandmaster Oliver Mtukudzi and “Zikomo” among others.

Sulu will also take revellers down memory lane by playing hits by his late father and Dendera music founder Simon Chimbetu.
The show is unique in that revellers will have an opportunity to request their favourite songs hence the decision to call the show “The Audience’s Choice”.

Dino Mudondo – Megga Westgate
“Makoikoi” hitmaker Dino Mudondo makes his maiden appearance at newly-opened joint Megga Westgate where Afro-jazz diva Clare Nyakujara supports him.
