The Light of God

GREETINGS, beloved nation. Isaiah 60:1–3 says: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come and the glory

of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness

the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the

Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

God is calling the Church to arise and shine: to rise from unbelief and from a position of mediocrity.

God is calling the Church to rise to a position of prayer and begin to take its ambassadorial position

in the world, because the light has come. It is for us to rise because the light has already come; it is

already here. This is the light that will support our manifestation and differentiate us from the

world. It is the light that will give us superior knowledge and wisdom such as the world has never

seen before. This is the light that our forefathers carried, which left kings dumb-founded by the

extent of their knowledge.

In John 1:4–5, the Bible says: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light

shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” This is the light that John bears

witness to. God wants us to manifest this light, which gives life to men. In Isaiah 60:2, the Bible

says: “Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people.”

There is a darkness that is going to cover the world.

Not only that, but it will develop into a gross darkness that will be upon the people. We are al-ready

seeing some of its effects. It is manifesting in the way people behave, causing men and women to do

blasphemous things — things that are against human nature — which are being de-scribed as

normal. These are signs of the darkness that has covered the world.

May the Church of God arise and shine and begin to demonstrate the light that can make the

darkness flee. The problem is that we have hidden this light inside our buildings and have not taken

it to the marketplace or to the places where we live.

May God awaken us in this season.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 60:2–3: “But the LORD shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen

upon thee, and the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

The reason we are not seeing the nations come to our business environments, workplaces, schools

or neighbourhoods is that this light is designed to attract Gentiles to come to the light we carry.

This is a powerful light that will cause things to follow us or be drawn to us without our having to

chase after them. Bear in mind that it is the light of God that causes the darkness not to

comprehend it.

We are living in a season when the Church is chasing after things. Everything in life was de-signed

to be attracted and drawn by the mystery of this light. The Bible says that the Gentiles shall come to

our light, not our familiar friends, because when those who know you bless you, it is difficult to say that it is God. But when strangers feed your flock, then you will know that it is a dimension of the grace this light carries.

The Bible says, “Kings shall come to the brightness of thy rising.” There is a dimension of light that

the Church must demonstrate — a light that will begin to attract kings. Kings will not just come,

because they are busy people. But when they begin to see this brightness, they will come for the

solutions that this light produces.

May we arise so that this light will be seen in the Body of Christ, and so that the darkness covering

the earth will flee because of this light.

Remember, we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God; we represent God on earth. As we arise,

this darkness cannot stand, because we are the carriers of the light. If things are not attracted to us,

it is a sign that we are not carrying the light.

I would like to invite you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. Believe in your heart

and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Saviour and you shall be saved. God bless

you all.
