THE City of Kings and Queens continue to nurture a new generation of creatives eager to make their mark in the entertainment industry, and among them is 21-year-old musician and filmmaker Jaydee Smallz.
Born Emaker Junior Dube, the budding artiste grew up in Cowdray Park and is now based in Rangemore, where he is dedicating his time and energy to building a career in both music and film production.

Driven by a passion for storytelling and artistic expression, Jaydee Smallz is steadily carving out his own path, creating projects that he believes reflect the realities, aspirations and experiences of everyday people.
The young creative said his love for music and film has been the driving force behind his journey, motivating him to continue developing his craft while exploring new opportunities in the entertainment sector.
“My inspiration comes from my love for music and film. I want to create work that people can relate to and enjoy,” he said.
As part of his growing catalogue, Jaydee Smallz is working on a new Amapiano project titled FSP, an acronym for France Studio Production. He is also preparing to release another track, Hola, on August 3.

The artiste believes consistency and hard work will help him realise his ambitions as he seeks to establish himself in Zimbabwe’s competitive creative industry.
“What I want to achieve is wealth and to fulfil my family’s wishes. I will continue pushing beyond my limits without stopping,” said Jaydee Smallz.
