SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Devine Angels pupil, Theobold Kondowe, decided to feel very Presidential this week.

So, the Devine Angels Junior Academy pupil donned a scarf, which is associated with President Mnangagwa, and his mother chose probably his finest Sunday clothing, for the occasion.

He was dressed in the Zimbabwe flag colours scarf which has been popularised by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Befittingly, the occasion was an important one – the distribution of the Pfumvudza/Intwasa Presidential Inputs at Elmond Madziviridze Village 1, in the Blackmorevale area of Chakari.

And, young Theo was a big hit with the farmers as he basked in the glow of the limelight.

Mashonaland West Provincial Minister of State and Devolution, Marian Chombo, was the guest of honour. Kondowe appeared to speak on behalf of the President as he told the farmers that he had availed them agricultural inputs and they needed to play a role to, ensure that the country attains food security.

“Conservative Agriculture kana kuti Pfumvudza/Intwasa ndakakupai kuti munoita timba ugute, pamberi nekubatana, nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, igotongwa nevene vayo, igonamatirwa nevene vayo,” said Kondowe.

The more than 500 farmers were drawn from farms around Sanyati districts.
