THE ULTIMATE TEST

CAPS United veteran midfielder, Devon Chafa, feels this is the ultimate test for his high-flying Green Machine.

They host champions FC Platinum in a high-profile Castle Lager Premiership battle at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

There are a number of ex-FC Platinum players in the Green Machine ranks – Chafa, Godknows Murwira, Rodwell Chinyengetere, Joel “Josta” Ngodzo and Kelvin Madzongwe.

“We are taking on the champions and that says a lot about what they can bring to the table on their day,” said Chafa.

“We are going to leave no stone unturned in our quest to extend our unbeaten run and what matters the most in this fixture is getting a positive result.

“I can’t say we are in the best state to play the champions because either now, or later, this game was going to be played.

“I can also say the confidence levels are very encouraging.

“He said having five players, who once featured for the champions, counts for nothing.

“We are ready for this match and preparations are going well and to us it’s not about our form but we are banking on the weight of our badge.”
