The world engulfed by the worst humanitarian crisis?

I AM sure that anyone in their senses at least discerns that something has changed for the worse in the world even as predicted in Matthew 24. Everything happening must not frighten those of sound faith but must awaken and sharpen their faith so they would rise up and show up and preach the end time message. It will appear the world is faced by a humanitarian crisis of the highest order and my intention today is to show my reader that crisis in its many forms.

Conflict and wars

This is not new at all but what is new is the scale at which nations engage in senseless wars inspired by greed and selfishness.

Millions of children and women and men are displaced from their homes and rendered homeless and live as refugees all over the world just because political leaders are fighting for power and prestige. Imagine that someone comes and destroys your home and takes you and makes you a refugee, and his project for making money or gaining political power. Is this not a shame? Didn’t the Libyans, Iraqis and Syrians have their own homes? Today they are refugees at the mercy of their manipulators. Surely to me this is a crisis. Leadership in the world has suddenly become so bully all they want is to show who is powerful than the other. Millions of people have been killed in these wars.

The wars and conflicts have made the world the most dangerous place for any meaningful human life. People are living in fear. Europe and the Western world, themselves the world’s biggest bullies are so insecure they no longer know who their neighbour is. Could this be an issue of sowing and reaping? They are living in suspicion and each day hundreds of their people are killed in terrorists’ attacks. Look at the crisis in the Middle East and look at the behaviour of Russia, North Korea and Iran and you will know that the world is living in fear. Why is humanity failing so much to relate? Is it wrong for Americans to stay in their own country and be Americans and so the Russians without bullying each other? Where are all these wars leading to and why all these wars?

Look at the South Sudan. What else do they want? When shall the Congo be free? Where is the xenophobia attack in South Africa leading us to? Is it not a humanitarian crisis when Africa hates and hurts herself this way? The whole world is in a humanitarian crisis caused by wars and conflicts caused by greedy people.

Human trafficking

This is another form of the crisis facing the world. About 35 million people are victims of this terror in the world. Statistics indicate that children are one-third of this and 62 percent of these are from Africa and the Middle East. This crime against humanity generates about 15,5 billion American dollars a year. Is this not a crisis when humanity treats itself in this manner?

Is it not a crisis of unthinkable imagines when we sell our children as young as four years as sex slaves? What kind of a man would buy a baby so they could sexually molest them? Beloved this is a crisis, both political and spiritual. It is a spiritual crisis in that humanity has lost her identity and conscience. Men, as in male have lost purpose. Now this is a serious crisis. In India alone every eight minutes a child is stolen and trafficked. In South Africa every three minutes a child is raped. Wait until you hear from the whole world. I mean, beloved, imagine the pain and the shame these innocent children go through. Imagine the pain their parents go through. Many people are held as slaves. Many are exploited as free labour in the world and about 150 million people are labour slaves in the world. Talk of manipulation and greed and savagery. This is humanity against herself. Stop where you are and imagine women and children abused. There are over a billion children abused or living in abuse worldwide. Some abused by their own parents.

Corruption

The whole world is bleeding today because of lust. Humanity is having an unquenchable appetite for power, money, sex, and total evil. As such people are doing everything to appease their flesh. Corruption is now a humanitarian crisis even as it has become a cause for human suffering world over, and Africa in particular. Did you know that crime has become such a huge industry that it generates over 32 billion dollars through the world’s biggest crime industries namely, arms trafficking, human trafficking and illegal drugs? These three are biggest business in the world today. This is business driven by lust and total sinfulness. How on earth can human pain be a business? How on earth can murder be business? It boggles the mind. Now this is a crisis.

It is needless for me to mention poverty, ignorance and the like. Ignorance is a humanitarian crisis on its own. It is needless for me to mention perversions. We have a sexual crisis in the world. Only humanity suffers this crisis. The animal kingdom is still intact. Beloved, I think it is a crisis when humanity no longer knows what human right is and what is not. It is a humanitarian crisis when humanity no longer knows what is right or wrong. It is a humanitarian crisis when humanity no longer knows who is male or female and what it means to be male or female. It is a humanitarian crisis when you can sell your child just because you want to buy beer or drugs. It is a humanitarian crisis when humanity hates, hurts and abhor each other in this current manner.

What shall we do? We are living in a sick world. The world is getting sick every time. The world on its own is desperate despite the fact that the world still thinks it can solve its problems alone. What a dream? There is still hope though. This depends on whether those with the key to the hope of the world can show up now and help. The only Hope of this world is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the Alpha and Omega and the desire of nations. We reject Him to our own peril. But if you asked me today what need to be done I would tell you only one answer. “Preach Jesus and Him alone crucified, resurrected and coming again.” Where are the sons of God?

This too shall come to pass. May humanity come to her senses? Keep believing.
