1. Substance abuse
In these days, I look in the mirror and see
What drugs and medicines have made me
I can see my heart beat in my chest
Oh this pain, such a mess
My life skipping away but,
You kept telling me it will be ok
All things I once loved
You told me to hate
You even convinced me I would be better off dead.
I can see my veins through my skin
I try to avoid you but you somehow take over me
I sit and ask myself
Is it really worth it?
Drugs lead to depression for everyone
Lung cancer, heart problems, liver problems all of this due to drugs
My life sad and ruined
all because of you
Drugs, drugs oh what you have done to me.
2. Substance abuse
Heroin, cocaine, marijuana,
Society has decayed from drug abuse. The crime and tragedies that stem from their use
Small time gladness worth our organs
Staying awake for weeks,
I’ve been able to turn you
down once or twice.
You just come back in form of ice
Damaging the lungs, the heart our death is ruled an over dose so our story book is closed
Paranoia running through my head
What damage heroine has caused
Drugs are not and will never be a solution but poison.
