Students face many challenges at school and college. Such problems if not properly handled, leads one to go astray. It is therefore, my desire to assist and guide you as you go through this journey. So many things happen at school and college.
We meet different people at school/college. Choose your friends wisely. Your friends should be more focused and visionary, friends that are dreaming big. Having such friends certainly makes you work hard and remain on track.
Most students divert from the core business of school work. Dating, drinking beer and smoking attracts attention of many students. Some venture into pornography, and sexual relationships. Some want quick money and venture into dangerous activities. This has destroyed so many students.
These activities usually brings stress and unnecessary pressure. The pressure is so severe that others think of committing suicide and dropping out of school. Some have ended up having unwanted pregnancies. This is because of wrong priorities.
In most cases, students don’t write their vision down. Some even don’t know what they want to do in life. Others are at schools, but don’t know what exactly they want to accomplish in life. Write down your goals and visions. After school what do you want to do? This will guide you to work hard and remain focused. You won’t waste time doing unnecessary things.
In most cases, students who work hard are tormented by those who are not serious. Don’t be discouraged. Watch those who laugh at you five years down the line. Life is a good teacher. Those who make it in this life are those who are disciplined and focused.
Believe while others are doubting. Plan while others are playing and dating. Study while others are sleeping. Decide while other are delaying. The time is NOW! Prepare while others are day dreaming.
Invest, while others are wasting. Many students are wasting their bodies, having sexual intercourse before the right time, drinking and smoking.
Invest in your body, keep it for the right person, continue being disciplined. You will certainly see the results. The greatest gift in life is the fear and respect of God. This is the beginning of wisdom. Pray to Him for guidance and protection.
