common cause, the stronger it becomes.
Everyone must do his or her part to accomplish the task. For example, in battle, not everyone sleeps at once, but in shifts. One group of soldiers watches for enemy movement while the other group rests. If they all fall asleep at once, nothing prevents the enemy from attacking.
The same is true in the spiritual realm. Christians fight against the unseen enemy, Satan. His weapons are emotionally charged arrows of fear, doubt and unbelief.
If he can get you to doubt God’s word and His covenant promises to you, then he can get you out of the will of God for your life. He can hinder the kingdom of God from progressing. The good news is that those who are partners in kingdom work have the ability to tap into the power of agreement. It is this power that gives you the ability to win.
Matthew 18:19-20 says, “Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them”.
To agree is to be in harmony or to symphonise in spirit, soul and body. When you are in agreement with someone, you are believing God for the same results.
In the scripture mentioned above, Jesus promised that He would dwell amongst those in agreement. His job is to carry out whatever is agreed upon. That is what transpires when you partner with an anointed ministry.
You have the assurance that they are in agreement with whatever it is you are believing God for. By joining your faith with the anointed ministry, you usher in the anointing to meet your needs and rejoice over each other’s manifestations.
This is because, partners understand that victory is a shared event as seen in Ephesians 4:16, which says: “From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part”. Everyone works together to accomplish a goal. You win together.
However, if a person asks you to partner with them, it is not mandatory for you to do so. Whatever the person will be asking for should first line up with the word of God because you cannot operate outside His covenant (His Word).
The request must agree with what has already been established. You can be sure that God will honour your agreement when you present scriptures to Him that support your request.
I recommend writing down your prayers of agreement and supporting scriptures. Keep them in a place that you are most likely going to see everyday.
Make a copy for your partner, or write down your requests on the partner response form and return it to the ministry with your monthly offering. Remember to confess God’s word over your needs daily and expect results.
Do not forget to let the ministry or person you are partnering with know when your heart’s desire becomes a reality. Psalm 133:1 says, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!” Unity is the conductor of God’s power. Like an electrical cord, it allows the anointing to flow from God to us, ushering in his power and presence.
If ever you are in doubt concerning the power of agreement, read the account of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9. There is nothing that cannot be achieved through partnership.
