The much-hyped gospel gig of the year, #THESHIFT, which featured American singer, Travis Greene, lived to its billing.

The noise around the concert was centred on whether the star would deliver and if the fans would show up.

However, the attendance was overwhelming, making it a huge success.

Pastor Travis Greene performed before a packed Celebration Centre and his act can be best described as flawless.

The American singer was performing in the country for the first time courtesy of Set-Up Events.

He shared the stage with Minister Michael Mahendere, Takesure Zamar, Pastor Bonnie and Joyous Praise Choir.

It was the American’s Narekele Mo song, which featured Nigerian star Tim Godfrey, which brought the house down as gospel fans got onto their groove.

More highlights came when Travis Greene also performed some of his latest compositions including Made A Way, Tent Revival, Impossible, Good and Loved and You Waited, all drawn from his rich catalogue.

Star FM Programmes manager, Steve Vickers and his Family, Elizabeth Tsvangirai, Mudiwa Hood, Apostle Java and Janet Manyowa graced the concert.

Organisers were impressed by the turnout and have promised to host more shows.
