Thief captured on CCTV

A Gwanda man who stole sandals worth $4 at a local shop’s parcel counter was sold out by a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).
Mduduzi Dube (30) of DDF Training Centre in Gwanda Town on Wednesday appeared before   Gwanda magistrate Mr Arafat Kozanai facing a charge of theft.

He was convicted on his own plea and sentenced to three months in prison which was wholly suspended for five years on condition of good behaviour.

Mr Edward Ndlovu prosecuted.
