Thieves break into Gunhill house

A GUNHILL man was left counting his losses after thieves broke into his house on Sunday.

Christopher Farai Charamba (33) lost cash, 750ml of wine, HP laptop, iPhone 11, Samsung Cellphone, and five pairs of formal shoes after the thieves forced open the screen door to gain entry into his house.

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case and said there were two other cases of unlawful entry and theft reported.

“Police are investigating cases of unlawful entry and theft in Harare,” said Insp Chakanza.

“Farai Nigel Chinyani (41) of Mabelreign lost US$1 540, which was in the monarch, and various clothes in Mabelreign.

“Pauline Sachikonye (32) of Alexandra Park lost an HP laptop, US$500, groceries and clothes and the total value stolen is yet to be known,” said Insp Chakanza.
