Thieves steal US$35 000 after blowing up church safe

POLICE in Chinhoyi are investigating a case of robbery where unknown suspects broke into a church along Highwaydrive in Mazari and stole US$35 000.

A burnt fuse and an explosive residue suspected to have been used to blow open the safe was found on the scene.

The Police, on X, appealed to anyone who might have information on the robbery or robbers to come forward.
