Third-term message to all Upper Six learners

I have always loved the first day of school better than the last day of school. Firsts are best because they are beginnings. Share the wonder that is you with the world. Today is a day where everything and anything seems possible. On the first day of school, show the world your brightness and beauty.
To the upper six learners, this is your examination term. As you are left with 43 days to write final examinations, be reminded that; To succeed, never give up but live up.  Know no excuses. Make the excitement of winning greater than the fear of losing. Greatness does not come from within your comfort zone.  Failure is not fatal, nor is success final.  Remove your doubts.  Put down your fears and go forward. The harder you study, the luckier you’ll get.  Don’t stress, just do your best and let the results speak for themselves. Work with your teachers and study mates so that You have all the knowledge you need to succeed.  Knowledge is your most valuable asset.  Everyone starts at zero.

Anything worth having has no shortcuts.  Believe you can. A successful tomorrow belongs to those who prepare today.  You don’t have to be great to start.  Stay positive, work hard, make it happen.  You create your luck by working for what you want.  Avoid time wasters. Check your clock and your calendar, it’s examination season. Happy new term and examination season. Tatenda Chihota is a sociology scholar/ 0718786253
