LOCAL businessman Dr Brilliant Ncube has once again become the talk of social media after officially marrying his third wife, a Ugandan, at a colourful lobola ceremony.

The Kingdom Blue founder and director, who has openly embraced polygamy, recently paid the bride price for his newest wife, marking another milestone in his expanding family.

Dr Ncube first introduced his third wife to the public on social media about two months ago, sparking widespread debate and attracting thousands of reactions from supporters and critics alike. The recent lobola celebrations have since cemented the union, with videos from the ceremony circulating online.

In a move that has drawn praise from many of his followers, Dr Ncube’s first and second wives, Sibonguthando Ncube and Belinda Magabadela, have publicly welcomed the latest addition to the family, demonstrating unity within the polygamous household.

Celebrating the occasion, Magabadela shared a congratulatory message on social media, writing: “Gege la gege ntombi ziyayigela akukho ntombi yaqoma inyamazana bekhona oMazheke. Wadla Mzilankantha.”
Congratulations also poured in from Dr Ncube’s close friend, Plumtree-born businessman Ginger Moyo, popularly known as Lavida Nina Ginger, who described polygamy as part of African culture.

“Let’s now grow the family. Before we were born, polygamy was there, and it is still here. This is our culture and identity. Congratulations, my brother,” Ginger wrote on Facebook.

The marriage has continued to generate widespread conversation online, with many social media users congratulating the businessman while others shared differing views on polygamy.

Regardless of the mixed reactions, Dr Ncube has remained unapologetic about his lifestyle, which he has consistently defended publicly.
