Thole headline Malawi squad

SIMBA Bhora goalkeeper William Thole is expected to lead Malawi when they take on Zambia in the semi-finals of the Mukuru 4 Nations tournament.

The tournament, set for Botswana in the coming days, will also see Zimbabwe face Botswana in the other semi-final.

Thole was named in Kalisto Pasuwa’s final squad on Tuesday.

Other Castle Lager Premiership players in the Malawian team include Ngezi Platinum defender Gomegzani Chirwa, FC Platinum duo of Nickson Nyasulu and Maxwell Paipi.

CAPS United’s Lloyd Njaliwa and Chawanagwa Kaonga are also part of the team.
