Thousands of people from across Mashonaland Central Province have gathered at Chief Nyakusengwa’s homestead in Rushinga for this year’s Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) Chiefs’ Day commemorations.
The commemorations are running under the theme “Preserving our cultural heritage for nation building towards sustainable development.”
ZNA Chief of Staff Administration, Major General Cephas Gurira, is presiding over the event.
The ZNA annually hosts the day to honor chiefs as custodians of cultural heritage and drive collaborative rural and national development.
