Three teams maintain 100 percent record in Eastern Region

Three teams have registered a 100 percent record in the ZIFA Eastern Region Division One League after two rounds of matches.

JM Busha, FC Wangu Mazodze and Surrey have all won their opening two games of the season. JM Busha top the league table due to a superior goal difference.

The league’s first draw was recorded in a Mutare derby pitting Buffaloes and Mutare City which ended in a goalless draw.

Grayham FC collected their first set of points at home with a 4-1 win over Rusitu Tigers.

Surrey booked their second win in style dismissing Bikita Minerals 2-0. Bikita Minerals are yet to put a point on the league table.

Renco Mine are yet to collect a point after falling 0 – 2 to JM Busha leaving them anchoring the league table.

Fans’ favourites Masvingo United won their first win of the season by overcoming Tenax 1-0.
