ZIM Hip Hop sensation, Tinashe ‘Ti Gonzi’ Gonzara, has announced the formation of a dynamic new musical band called HHYG, which he believes will help him take his live shows to unprecedented heights.
In an exclusive interview with H-Metro, Ti Gonzi revealed that HHYG’s diverse skill set and shared passion for music will result in electrifying performances.
“This band embodies my vision for an authentic and innovative live show.
“HHYG is more than just a band name but a movement which stands for Hipu Hopu Yeku Ghetto, representing the culture I grew up in.
“The HHYG collective consists of 10 talented individuals, including dancers and a DJ”, he said.
Ti Gonzi revealed they’re already working on a two-part album, HHYG Volume 1 and 2.
“This is not just about me, it’s growth for Zim Hip Hop and fans should be ready to experience the revolution.”
