Talented sungura musician, Tindo Ngwazi, who is riding high with a new album, Charwadza, descends on the entertainment joint situated at Avilla business centre tonight (Friday).

 

The sleepy and entertainment-starved business centre will reverberate into sound as the gifted bassist will perform till Saturday mid-morning.

 

Admission is US$5.

 

Fondly known as Antante, Ngwazi is expected to entertain revelers with danceable songs plucked from Charwadza, including Vane Rudo, Vabereki and Lindiwe.

 

Ngwazi has also promised to unleash some of his unreleased works during the night.

Chitsa Bar

In a potentially-explosive weekend that will be a blend of sungura and mbira music entertainment at the joint situated in Dangamvura, Extra Jump Stars and Nhenguredze Zimbabwe will be performing live on Sunday.

 

Sungura outfit, Extra Jump Stars is popular for performing own compositions as well as cover songs done by sungura greats.

 

The shows start at 1pm and admission is free. Resident DJs Spillz and Wizzy will perform for the whole weekend starting tonight (Friday).

Club Mandisa

Strip tease sensations drawn from major cities around the country take turns to entertain night fun lovers at the joint situated at the city centre.

 

The dancers, led by Freaky Barbie Dolls, will gyrate on the pole starting tonight till Sunday.

Admission is US$3.

 

Local dancers entertain revelers throughout the whole week. Resident DJs Lampy, Mshez, Apple Dee and Burgz headline the Mad Wednesday party.

Micasa

Rising Afro-jazz artiste, WaCharie, headlines this Sunday’s potentially-explosive jazz night.

 

Fledged by a full band, the dreadlocked artiste will perform from 6pm. Guest DJ Snaxx will entertain fans from tonight, while resident DJ Terminator will be on the turntables tomorrow.

 

Reggae ensemble, Just Friends, provide entertainment with a live band every Wednesday.

Fourth Gardens

DJ Lampy performs at the spacious joint this and every Sunday.

 

The weekend carnival dubbed Wet Sundays, sees revelers enjoying from a variety of activities such as swimming, music, braai, shisha and offals.

 

The event starts at 2pm.

The Stardom Nite Club

DJ Layan provides entertainment tonight, amusing revelers with a mixed bag of music.

 

He continues tomorrow with strictly new school music before old school music specialist, DJ Kartel, takes over on Sunday.

 

During the weekend, revelers are treated to extras such as shisha and electric cigars.
