ZIMBABWE international, Tino Kadewere, says he is ready to turn a painful chapter into the fuel to power a grand comeback in his career.

He has undergone knee surgery.

He says this is one of the toughest periods of his career.

The Warriors and Aris Thessaloniki forward opened up about the emotional weight of recurring injuries, admitting the setbacks pushed him into moments of doubt as he tried to make sense of his journey.

He will miss the AFCON finals, a blow that has added to the frustration, yet his message carries a clear sense of fight.

Kadewere says faith, family and the support around him have steadied him during this dark period.

“A few weeks I had surgery on my knee and honestly this has been one of the toughest moments ever.

“I have been struggling a lot with these injuries and sometimes you ask yourself so many questions with no answers,” said Kadewere. He has chosen not to dwell on the uncertainty.  Instead, he is banking on a belief system that has carried him through the highs and lows.

“I believe everything happens for a reason and I will never give up. Will keep the fight and make sure one day all this will just be history.”

The 28-year-old says the early signs of recovery have lifted his spirits and he wants to reassure those who have stood with him. “I am happy with the progress already and assuring all the fans that I will come back strongly.”

Kadewere knows the injury story has shadowed large parts of his career.

He accepts that this is another difficult stretch, but insists it is temporary.

“Everything has a phase and I tell you this dark chapter will pass through one day and I will manage to play my game without any hinderance.

“What is important and what I am grateful about is the support from my family and all those who believe me in me.

“They give me the will to keep on believing and zeal to fight hard.”
