Tobacco season commences

The 2021 tobacco selling season has started.

Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Resettlement Minister Dr Anxious Masuka officially opened the season.

The first bale was sold at US4,30 per kilogramme.

Minister Masuka said he expected prices to firm as the season progressed.
