Response to “Gandawa on the run”. I think whenever someone skips bail, the judge or magistrate who would have granted initial bail must be held accountable. The State usually opposes bail based on the possibilities of escape but the judges always try to hide behind the Constitution, claiming that everyone is entitled to bail. So why come to court for bail application if everybody is entitled to it? Maybe Gandawa has fled to Kenya to join the professor. — Learnmore Mushingi.
