WHILE the eagerly awaited collaboration with Neyo remains a work in progress, local rapper Tojey Blox is on the brink of making his mark in the international music scene with his debut UK appearance scheduled for March.

Despite his music already resonating overseas, the “Power” singer is thrilled at the prospect of performing on foreign soil for the first time.

“I’m eagerly looking forward to my debut performance in the UK. This is what I’ve been anticipating since the inception of my career. I aim to leave a powerful impression that compels other promoters to take notice and book me.”

“The idea of sharing the stage with fellow artistes is a remarkable opportunity. It will enhance my creative arsenal as I connect with them, exchanging artistic ideas,” he expressed.

Organised by Shanyai Events, the two gigs, named “Dzemudanga Zimdancehall Explosion,” are scheduled for Dunstable and Birmingham on the 1st and 3rd of March. The events promise a fusion of local and regional talent, featuring artistes like Lady Bee, Ndunge Yut, Ma9nine, Dhadza D, Mbida D, Pumacol, South Africa’s Zizwe, and Lindough (Thuphaki and Kingsport).

Tojey Blox is also collaborating on an EP with Zizwe, known for sharing the stage with legends like the late Oliver “Samanyanga” Mtukudzi and American rapper Snoop Dogg. The EP is set to drop in March.

Building on his European presence, Tojey Blox strengthened his grip on the market last year with a collaboration with American-based singer Parish Walker on the track “Unlimited”.

With music running in the family, as the brother of Innora, Tojey Blox is making waves and is widely recognised for hinting at a collaboration with Neyo.
