Award winning Nafuna TV has partnered with radio personality and philanthropist Zororo Makamba to produce a new TV show called “Tonight with Zororo” that will be hosted by Zororo. “Tonight with Zororo” will include a roundup of current affairs and topical issues, as well as interviews with newsmakers, personalities and people who are making a difference. There will also be a creative performance at the end of each episode.
Creative director for Nafuna TV, Aura Mlilo said, “For some time now, we’ve wanted to produce a modern talk show with a difference.
After working with Zororo in the past, we agreed that he’d be the perfect person to occupy the seat as we strive to give something special to the viewers.”
Mlilo added: “The digitisation deadline in June this year will be a great opportunity for content creators across the board to have their projects broadcasted to a wider audience and this show will be one of many that audiences can look forward to.”
The pilot episode will feature a no- holds-barred interview with businessman Dr Philip Chiyangwa and an acoustic performance by Zimbabwean artiste Taps, who is based in California.
The promo for the TV show can be viewed online and the first season is rumoured to start in February. At the end of last year Zororo was profiled in a documentary called “Kushaya Zororo” that explored the different aspects of his rising brand. This was also done by Nafuna TV.
