Top Harare dancehall DJs invade Bulawayo

Showbiz Reporter
HARARE’S top dancehall sound houses, Legendary Sounds and Red Fox Sounds are expected to return to Bulawayo tomorrow for a show at Club Forty 40. They will perform at a dancehall “sound splash” alongside up-and-coming dancehall artiste Center Party. Bulawayo DJs Mzoe, Fritz, Ericado, Theo, and Ally will be on the turntables. One of the Red Fox DJs, Easy Vybz said fans in Bulawayo should gear up for the show as they would be playing the latest dancehall tunes.

He added that they were also going to bring in a newcomer DJ Taka Bee and Alkaline – an up-and-coming dancehall artiste.

During the show, Red Fox Sounds is going to give away their Zvipande and Zvipande Volume one mixtape to lucky fans. DJ Mzoe, Club Forty 40 entertainment manager, said though the two sound houses had performed in Bulawayo before, this show would be different.

“We noticed that dancehall is growing rapidly in Bulawayo and decided to invite top dancehall DJs from Harare. The response from revellers is good as compared to previous years where dancehall shows would attract a few people,” he said.
