A top-of-the-table showdown is on at Morris Depot this afternoon when ZIFA Northern Region Division One log leaders Black Mambas take on in-form Herentals Under-20. The two sides are both on 10 points and Warumwa Warumwa are on top courtesy of a superior goal difference.

Coach John “Toto” Ncube’s Mambas have a good weapon in the form of leading goalscorer Ashford Nyamajiwa who has four goals in four matches.
But, against the students, Mambas are set for a tough test.
Another coach, Gipter Raiva, will welcome his former team Golden Valley at Muriel Mine.

Raiva is now in charge of PAM United.
“I think it is good to play against my former paymasters and we are expecting a good result and I will be at home,’’ the coach said.
“I have a good understanding of my opponents which I think will help.
“The players are now understanding each other after we lost at least eight players last year and we have assembled a new side that has some players who played in the Second Division last year.

“We need to collect our first set of maximum points after a slow start to the season where we have lost two and drawn two matches.’’
