Tovey recovering

JOHANNESBURG. — Former Bafana Bafana captain Neil Tovey is “doing well” and could be moved out of ICU “in the next day or so”, according to reports.

EWN reports that a family member of Tovey has confirmed that the 52-year-old former South African soccer captain is recovering from three heart attacks in ICU in a Durban hospital. Reports emerged on Tuesday evening that the former Bafana Bafana defender and captain of the 1996 AFCON winning national team, Tovey, had been hospitalised after suffering three heart attacks on Tuesday morning. — AFP.
