TRYSON Chimbetu has gone from being stuck in a dark drug pit to a passionate advocate fighting against drugs and substance abuse who is now charming the corporate world with his ministry.
Businessman Giant Mutasa, who runs the Giant Petroleum fuel stations, is one of the corporate leaders who have been charmed by Tryson’s transformation and battle against drugs and substance abuse.
Mutasa’s wife has also been blown away by the artist’s transformation and his courage to try and tame the drugs which almost destroyed his life.
“Tryson Chimbetu is musically melodic, his singing descends in anyone’s heart with ease, look at his composure, perfect performance and the neat corporate dress code he dons these days.
“Also, look at the traditional Chimbetu clean haircut, clearly melodic vocal projections, he is everything.
“Honestly speaking we, as the corporate world, must lead by endorsing talent like this and, at Giant Petroleum, as a brand, we believe in being honesty and positivity.
“We also believe in perseverance and at Giant Petroleum we are saying no to drug abuse, no to domestic violence, no to child abuse.”
Another businessman, Eddie Elphigio Chivas, said:

“Well done for all those challenges you faced and overcame, it is all part of life.”
Recently, Tryson held a good show at Glen Norah B’s Motswako Club.
The show was part of the birthday celebrations for his manager Shepard Machanja, who has turned 34.
“Congratulations for turning 34, we have been together from school,” said Tryson.
“He advises me from home to the stage, so let us celebrate.”
Motswako director, Kudzaishe Gama, said Tryson’s transformation should be celebrated.
“Tryson is a big music brand, he is so immensely talented, he just needs corporate support.
“I am surprised by the changed Tryson I witnessed today, he is totally different from what I read on social media, he is so composed.
“His past friends to now stay away from him and he must know God,” she said.
