HEARTFELT tributes are pouring in following the passing of beloved opera singer Thembisile Twala.
In a statement on social media, the choir expressed their heartbreak.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our longest-serving members, Thembisile Twala, who joined in 2003. May her soul rest in peace. We are shattered as a choir,” read the statement.

“I am told that uSis Thembi is no more. I have been getting calls and texts, but we should allow the family to mourn. I am not buying any story until I hear from the family. One thing I can tell you is she did very well. I am a bit moved,” said Zola 7
Devastated fan Kabza Matabane wrote: “Death has seriously robbed us here. Still can’t believe it. Sometimes it feels wrong to say RIP to someone who still had so much to give. Little did we know that death would come like a thief in the night and take our beloved ‘Don’t Cry’ Thembisile Twala. We are not okay.”
