HIP-HOP producer, Trinnie Beatz has dropped his eighth EP dubbed ‘Horror’ following a year-long hiatus from the music industry.
The seven-track EP features fellow artists such as Terrel Lane and BG Star and explores other genres such Afro-fusion and dancehall.
It also has been fused with the Magic Wave Riddim produced by Cymplex Music.
Trinnie said he took a long break from the musical circles to focus on his wellness, which is reflected in his latest piece.
He said collaboration with BG Star and Terrel has added an extra layer of depth to his work, with each artist bringing their unique perspective to the table.
“I took a step back from the industry to prioritise my wellness as the industry can be overwhelming due to its pressures.
“I needed to recharge and find myself again. This EP is a reflection of that journey — the darkness, the struggles, but also the growth and redemption.
“My music has always been a reflection of my emotions and experiences. This EP is no different. I’m exploring themes of anxiety, depression and self-discovery.
“It’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s me.
“Working with BG and Terrel was an incredible experience.
“We vibed on a creative level and our chemistry is palpable in the music.
“They brought out the best in me and I’m forever grateful,” said Trinnie.
