A RUWA cross-border truck driver reckons he has managed to survive road accidents and temptations through God’s grace.

Patrick Mupindu, who doubles as a sungura artist, says women literally throw themselves at truck drivers.

He has opened up in his third album titled Hupenyu Hwangu.

It carries six tracks — Hupenyu, Mbinga Dondo, Nzara Muzhizha, Mwana Wangu, Shofe, and Unondivengerei.

“As truck drivers, we go through a lot on the road and we only thank God for His grace.

“In my years in this profession, I have experienced almost everything from accidents to even loose women targeting us.

“As men, we need to be firm and prayerful and, in my case, I only thank God,” he said.

Mupindu, who is a talented artist, has dropped an album that chronicles his life.

“My latest album is the story of my life on the road and mentors in general.

“I can only be grateful to the people who have been there for me over the years.

“I can’t thank God enough for His protection.”

He added:

“I have lined up a series of shows with my manager, Boss Lazie, but my busy work schedule has been keeping me away from my fans.

“However, I have made it a policy that I continue recording constantly.”
