It is sad that many children of God are oblivious to the fact that wealth only comes from God. That is why many Christian gospel artists end up singing worldly music because they feel that only singing gospel music will not rake in finances. They do not believe that true abundance can only come from the one who owns the earth and the universe and everything in it.
1 Chronicles 22:14-16: Indeed I have taken much trouble to prepare for the house of the LORD one hundred thousand talents of gold and one million talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond measure, for it is so abundant. I have prepared timber and stone also, and you may add to them. Moreover there are workmen with you in abundance: woodsmen and stonecutters, and all types of skillful men for every kind of work. Of gold and silver and bronze and iron there is no limit. Arise and begin working, and the LORD be with you.”(NKJV)
The scriptures above speak about the offering that David gave towards the building of the temple; just an offering! No one on earth has ever been as wealthy as Solomon or David in the Bible!
Solomon and David gave God a reason to bless them, they had a desire to build the house of God.
1 Kings 3:12-13: Behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, 31 so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. (NKJV)
Deuteronomy 8:18: Remember the Lord your God for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your fore fathers as it is today. (NIV)
The devil can never make anyone truly wealthy and prosperous. I researched and studied the world’s wealthiest people and none could compare to the wealth Solomon or David possessed. Divine prosperity encompasses wealth, divine health and peace and we find this in no one else but Christ.
