TRUMUS Warriors were the only winners among the top three title contenders in the intriguing Zifa Matabeleland North Division Two League race with a crucial 2-0 away victory over Lukhosi Pirates on Saturday.

Goals by Wesley Dube and Brilliant Sianzoka condemned Pirates to their second home loss.

League pacesetters Ingagula found the going tough at home against army side Moto Moto, sharing the spoils in a goalless draw at Chakona Stadium. The result left Ingagula clinging to top spot by a superior goal difference.

Fourth-placed Baobab Rovers quietly carried on with their business of staying within reach of the pace-setters with a 1-0 win over gritty Tenex courtesy of an Albert Zulu strike.

Hwange Under-17 and Dete side Hotspurs Leopards also shared the spoils in a 1-1 stalemate, with Wellington Ngwenya and Sydney Thebe on target for the two sides.

At Chinotimba Stadium, Mosi Rovers found the going tough against Blackrock and scrapped to a 2-1 win, thanks to a goal by Leib Chiyoko deep into injury time to add to Trymore Nkomazana’s effort.

Blackrock had stunned Rovers by racing into the lead through Alex Ngorora’s strike.

Classic Luyando added more misery to Iwisa with a 2-0 win through Craig Dina and Clevious Ncube’s goals.

Amagagasi Under 19 hammered Corinthians 7-0.
